What we collect and why
Enquiries. If you message us on WhatsApp, call or email, we get your name (if you give it), phone number or email address, your address, and any photos or details you send. We use them to give you a quote, arrange and do the job, and keep business records. Our lawful basis is that it is needed to take steps before a contract at your request, and to perform it. We keep job records for as long as we need them for tax and accounting, which is usually up to six years, and quote-only enquiries for up to 12 months.
Photos you send. Photos may show the inside of your home. We use them only to quote and do your job, and we delete them when they are no longer needed.
Website visits. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and pages viewed. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites and does not build a profile of you. It records basic technical information such as the page viewed, the referring site, browser, device type and country. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used. You can contact us at the address above to ask about this.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies for tracking or advertising, so there is no cookie banner. If that changes we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
Who sees your information
We do not sell your information. It passes through the services we use to run the business: WhatsApp (Meta), our email provider (Google), our website host and analytics provider (Cloudflare). These providers may process data outside the UK under safeguards that the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected]. If you are not happy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
We will post any changes here and update the date above.
